Owner/Instructional Designer Andrea Garin Kopilak is a strategic Instructional Designer focused on client needs in various industries. Currently, she operates Designed2Learn LLC (“D2L”), a consulting firm she started to address the training and development needs of select clients. Project work at D2L includes application of adult learning principles and phases of Instructional Design such as analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation and sustaining training programs. Before starting D2L, Andrea worked as an Instructional Designer for UBS Financial Services where she was responsible for assisting a team of four instructional designers and supporting the top Wealth Management training initiatives of the Firm. During her tenure at UBS she was selected to work with senior management, in Switzerland, to drive closer global collaboration. This initiative identified synergies and promoted cross functional communication as part of the new Global Education and Development Integration Team. Prior to joining UBS, Andrea worked within various industries as an independent consultant, successfully assuming roles such as: facilitator, project manager, instructional designer, technical writer, creative director of storyboards and graphics, virtual trainer, and facilitator. In addition to ten years in training and development, she completed a Master's Degree in Educational Communications and Technology from NYU.
